Rodeo of the Ozarks
An American Classic for 70 Years.
In an effort to find relief from the stress of World War II, Rodeo of the Ozarks began on the patriotic weekend of the fourth of July by founder, Shorty Parsons, and a small committee of community members. It has since evolved into one of the top 5 Outdoor rodeos in the entire United States. The sport of rodeo is like no other. With it’s unmatched patriotism, tradition and sportsmanship mixed with as Garth Brooks says it “the bulls and the blood, the dust and the mud” this is a weekend you won’t want to miss. Join us at Parsons Stadium on July 2-5th to celebrate our nations birth and a sport that upholds the values our nation was founded upon.
Spring is in full swing and Rodeo of the Ozarks is hard at it! On Saturday, April 12th, several board members hosted a petting zoo at an autism awareness fundraiser in Rogers. At the same time, the Easter Egg Roundup committee hosted a very successful event right here at Parsons!
