2015 Schedule of Events

 May 29 – 30    Monster Trucks

Monster Trucks roar into Springdale at Parsons Stadium at 7:30. Friday from 6:00-7:00 will host a free Pit Party! Tickets will go on sale May 19th. Must have a ticket for Friday night to gain admission. Buy tickets online at rodeooftheozarks.org or at Car Mart locations in Springdale, Rogers, and Fayetteville.

June 6   Demolition Derby

7:30 pm – RESCHEDULED from May 9th. SAMS Furniture brings us a heated competition as drivers face off until the last car is standing! Join us for a fun family night where drivers will compete for cash prizes and bragging rights. Tickets are $7.00 for children ages 2-12 and $12.00 for adults. BUY EARLY AND SAVE! Purchase your tickets before the day of show and receive a $2.00 discount!

 June 13 Wing Fest

Join us for the 11th Annual Wingfest! Gates open at 5pm with live music featuring Leah and the Moho Doctors! Area restaurants go head to head, battling for bragging rights and the title of “Best wings”! You sample every restaurant and you decide who wins. Not only are the restaurants competing, but you can show off your wing eating skills in the wing eat-offs! The Grand Prize? A BIG Flat Screen TV.

 June 17 – 21    Spring Carnival

Pride of Texas will once again bring Texas sized fun for all ages! Armbands will be available.

 June 20    BBQ Western Days

BBQ Contest in conjunction with the carnival. At 4pm the cook-off begins along with a ton of fun! There will be vendor booths and a BBQ contest, cowboy quick draw, live entertainment and much more! Entry fee for the cook off will be $25. Fan favorite votes!! Meat is provided.

 June 27    Street Dance

Grab the kids and kick up your heels for a boot scootin’ time in downtown Springdale on Emma Street. The good time begins at 6pm! There will be pony and stage coach rides for the kids. The Boston Mountain Playboys will be performing and the dance floor will be ready to go. Bring your lawn chairs and enjoy an evening of family fun. Concessions will be available. No admission charge.

 June 30    Rodeo “Slack” Performance

5:00 pm – Join us for a sneak peak of the next 4 nights of fun at Rodeo of the Ozarks! Contestants will enter in timed events only. With some 500 competitors, it is challenging to find a slot during the rodeo. No admission charge!

July 1    Rodeo Parade

What is red, white, and blue and makes lots of noise? Our Fourth of July weekend parade! Join us to observe a patriotic display of cowgirls, floats, bands, entertainment and candy for the kiddos at our Rodeo kick off parade. Beginning at 3:00 pm at the rodeo grounds and proceeding west through downtown Springdale. To win monetary prizes by participating in the float contest, find the rules and entry forms available online.

July 1 – 4    71st Annual Rodeo of the Ozarks

With 71 years of proud tradition, you won’t want to miss the opportunity to see some of the roughest and toughest cowboys and cowgirls from all around in one of the Top 5 Largest Outdoor Rodeos in the U.S! Gates open at 6:00 pm. Mutton Bustin’ begins at 6:30. Rodeo begins at 7:30 pm.

July 1 – 4    Miss Rodeo of the Ozarks Queen Pageant

A rodeo queen is more than just a smiling girl with curls, a cowgirl hat, and a blingy belt buckle; it is a young lady who is able to convey the true spirit of rodeo to everyone she is around! Competitors will participate in four days of interviews, speeches, modeling and much more to vie for the title of being the next Miss Rodeo of the Ozarks. Horsemanship and modeling are open to the public; times will be posted. July 4   Rodeo Parade

August 22 Professional Bull Riding

Buckin’ In The Ozarks showcases some of the most promising rising stars of the PBR, riding alongside rookies and veterans, as all the competitors face-off against the most famous animal athletes in the business. Ticket prices coming soon.

November 28   Christmas Parade of the Ozarks
